After many years of contributing to Ubisoft, developer Dan Hay decided to leave the company last year. He was responsible for the development of the Far Cry series, with many people claiming that the best games in the franchise were released because of his direction. He directed the creation of Far Cry 3, and he contributed significantly to succeeding installments, including Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, and Far Cry New Dawn.  Dan Hay decided to join Blizzard and is working on a new, unannounced survival game, but he, for some reason decided to switch companies and is once again developing a large production from the AAA segment. We can only guess what the game is about, but there were rumors that Blizzard was making a new survival game. We, however, don’t know for sure if this is the same game. The development of this unnamed Blizzard game was first announced all the way back in January of 2022. Blizzard president Mike Ybarra said that the team’s size has doubled in the last 11 months and that the game will be the studio’s first new property since Overwatch. Ybarra simply called it a “Survival Game” when asked what it was called. In spite of the fact that rumors about the game are still doing the rounds, it would appear that those rumours are true. If someone with Dan’s track record is working on a game, you know you can trust what he produces, judging by his previous projects. -Blizzard
